Backyard BBQ season is right around the corner. Are you ready to grill? Socialize? Invite every, single, neighbor?

PROMPT:

Write a story in which the character crashes their own party. Maybe they get into a fistfight with an obnoxious neighbor whose boat stretches across the property line. Maybe they burn all the hot dogs to a crisp. Maybe they get so drunk they careen through their own screen door. Moral of the story, this ‘get together’ goes badly. Make it a mess.
