It’s the holiday season. For many of us, this means traveling to familiar places to be with familiar people. Sometimes that works for your writing, but sometimes it works against it.

PROMPT:

Pick an area of the world that you’ve never been and research it. What’s the weather like there? Are there any native plants or animals? What kinds of food do they eat? Once you’ve done some research, create a character and put them there. Maybe they’re on vacation. Maybe they’ve moved for a job. No matter what, make sure you get the details right!
