PROMPT #71

Now that we’ve almost finished with our contest, let’s talk about another one! Today, in 1921, the first Miss America Pageant was held. This contest judges competitors’ talent performances, interview skills, and — of course! — physical appearance.

PROMPT:

Let’s go back in time. What if you could create another pageant that would replace the Miss America Pageant? This new pageant would judge people on three different things. What three things would you choose? What kind of person would win? What kind of person would lose? Show us what this new contest would look like. Write from the perspective of a judge. Write from the perspective of a competitor. Or, perhaps, write from the perspective of someone watching the contest on TV.

Wrote something great? Send it our way!
