The Best Small Fictions 2016

Great news! From thousands of submissions Stuart Dybek chose Vincent Scarpa‘s “Easter, 1991” from NANO Fiction 9.1 for inclusion in The Best Small Fictions of 2016!

And, in more great news, Kelly Luce‘s “Outside” from NANO Fiction 9.1 and Sarah Hulyk Maxwell‘s “Whales in Minnesota” also from NANO Fiction 9.1 both placed as semifinalists!

The book, published by Queen’s Ferry Press, we be out in October. (In the meantime, you can check out the 2015 edition!) We can’t wait to read all the flash pieces. Congrats to all of the finalists, semifinalists, and winners!
