State of Flash for our Queer Issue
We’re looking to continue our State of Flash series with short essays talking about flash fiction in and out of the classroom, and do so in tandem with our upcoming Queer Issue.
Do you have thoughts about LGBTQ flash fiction being published today? Do you have useful techniques in helping your students write thoughtful LGBTQ characters? What are some ways that you have seen stories mismanage their LGBTQ characters? How do you avoid these pitfalls and how do you help your students to do so? Which stories have spoken to students? Which stories have spoken to you?
