Only 30 More Days to Enter the 2014 NANO Prize!
Dearest Readers–there are only 30 days left to send us your best flash fiction. The Sixth-Annual NANO Prize closes on September 1, so send us your best work today!
This year’s contest will be judged by Kim Chinquee. Check out an interview with her about what she is looking for, or just go crazy – and send us three of your shortest shorts without reading anything at all!
The entry fee is $15 for up to three stories. The winner is awarded publication in issue 8.2 and $500, and all entrants will receive a one year subscription to NANO Fiction.
Winners will be announced in late September. Visit our submission manager to enter.
Hello, I have a question regarding previously unpublished submissions. If I post my work on Tumblr or any other personal blogs is that considered to be previously published? And what if the work was posted two years ago?
Thank you.
Hi Vina — Thank you for your question! We consider posting your work on Tumblr as a form of self publishing.
Hi. I was just wondering if it was possible for me to go a little over the word limit by maybe 30 words, or is it strictly 300 words or less? Thanks.
Yes.
