We’ve got a lot of news and events happening in the next few months, so we hope you can dig your way out of whatever snowstorm is probably hitting you and come and see us at one or more!

AWP IN DC

NANO Fiction will be at AWP this year, so please stop by our joint table with ZYZZYVA. We’ll have t-shirts from oo Shirts and subscription deals, but you can also meet our charming editorial crew as well.

DONATION DRIVE

According to the IRS, NANO Fiction is ineligible for 501(c)3 status because we are “pornographers and agents of pornography.” Whahuh? So we’re asking that you please find it in your heart to donate money to NANO Fiction, because we are quickly growing beyond our means. For donors of $100 or more you get a lifetime subscription, which sounds like the kind of awesome prize somebody can only get on a gameshow or something!

NANO READING SERIES AT KABOOM BOOKS

Our spring reading series at the great Kaboom Books in Houston, Texas is starting right after AWP, on Tuesday, February 8th! Our first pair of readers will be Brian Nicolet and Addie Tsai, so come on out and enjoy the balmy Houston winter! As always, there will be refreshments and a limited number of complimentary chapbooks, so get there early.

SUBMISSIONS

As always, we’re accepting submissions year round, so please submit, and tell your friends! There’s even still a little bit of time to submit for our spring 2011 issue. We’re using Submishmash, which we cannot praise enough. Go here and send us your best flash piece!
