Five at 5 Reading Series in Tuscaloosa, AL
NANO Fiction invites you to join us on September 22 and October 20 at 5pm for the Five at 5 Reading Series hosted by 5 Bar (2324 6th St, Tuscaloosa, AL.).
5 Bar offers the best atmosphere (and drinks) for this one of a kind series featuring readers from the southern US all the way north to Canada. The readings will be short and sweet, so drive on down (or up) and join us!

Justin Lawrence Daugherty is the author of Whatever Don’t Drown Will Always Rise from Passenger Side Books. He lives in Atlanta, GA, is on Twitter, and talks about pizza all the time.
Stephanie Lynn Devine is an assistant editor for New South and a PhD in fiction student at Georgia State University. Her stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Fiction Southeast, Treehouse, and Glassworks Magazine.
Katy Gunn is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Alabama with writing forthcoming from LIT, Birkensnake, Paper Darts, and more.
Marsha McSpadden lives in Tuscaloosa, AL where she teaches English composition and creative writing at the University of Alabama. Her work has appeared in Missouri Review, Shenandoah, SmokeLong, and Matchbook, among others.
Brian Oliu is originally from New Jersey and currently lives in Tuscaloosa, AL. His collection of Tuscaloosa Missed Connections, So You Know It’s Me, was released in 2011 by Tiny Hardcore Press. His series of lyric essays about video game boss battles, Level End, was released in 2012 by Origami Zoo Press.

Jared Yates Sexton is an assistant professor of Creative Writing at Georgia Southern University and the managing editor of the literary magazine BULL. His first book, An End To All Things, is available from Atticus Books.
Elizabeth Wade grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL, received degrees from Davidson College and the University of Alabama, and now teaches at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. Her work has appeared in such journals as Kenyon Review Online, Brevity, and The Rumpus.
