Last-Chance Writing Prompt #4

Our brains are hardwired to remember melodies, which is why you couldn’t shake “Shake It Off” last fall while forgetting to pay all of your bills (haters gonna hate–right, FICO score?). This means that some of our strongest–and sometimes, earliest–memories are linked to music.

PROMPT:
Take a world with no music and then introduce it. What kind of music is it? Does this change how people talk about things like love and death? Is it only a thing that the youths can understand? Dig deep into the sensory, the cultural, the personal, and be specific.
