Prompt #4

At NANO Fiction we recently celebrated our fifth birthday. Thanks to all of you who helped us celebrate! (Don’t worry; it’s not a bunch of preschoolers over here reading your work. The actual combined age of our editors is well over 100.)

PROMPT:

In 300 words (or under!) write a prose poem, flash piece, or micro essay about a five-year-old. According to PBS.org, “Five-year-olds are creative and enthusiastic problem solvers.” Show us in movements and sounds what the world is like from his or her perspective or what being around a five-year-old does to your perspective of the world.

Got something special? Send it to our editors!
