Midnight Koan: Two Changelings

I was searching for a leprechaun and found one. It was a she who didn’t play by the usual rules, freely revealing the location of a pot of gold. Later, she assumed human form and became my mate, but eventually turned evil.

Then I was leaving a forest with crossbow in hand. I saw a young woman by a trailer park holding her infant, a boy. She began to change him, but appeared overwhelmed, asking me if I could take over. When I looked up, she was gone.
