CLMP’s 13th Annual Lit Mag Marathon Weekend
Hey New Yorkers— NANO Fiction will be participating in CLMP’s 13th Annual Lit Mag Marathon Weekend.
Stop by the Marathon Reading to hear our brand new Associate Editor, Steph Optiz, read from the most recent issue of NANO Fiction, and then pick up a copy at the fair on Sunday.
What else do you have going on? This one-of-a-kind fair only happens once a year so you know you have to go.
Here are all the details:
“The Magathon” Reading at NYPL
Saturday, June 16th (4pm-6:30pm)
NYPL main branch, 5th Ave. at 42nd Street
The Marathon Reading will feature 15-20 editors, including our very own Steph Optiz, reading short selections in the spectacular DeWitt Wallace Periodicals Reading Room. A rare, wonderful opportunity to bring our vibrant literary publishers to the beautiful NYPL!
13th Annual Literary Magazine Fair
Sunday, June 17th
Housing Works Used Book Café, 126 Crosby Street
Every year hundreds of publishers from all over the country participate in CLMP’s Lit Mag Fair. All participating journals will be sold for $2 a piece. Proceeds from sales will go to Housing Works, a nonprofit organization serving homeless people living with AIDS, and to CLMP in support of our ongoing programs for independent literary publishers. Leftover journals, if there are any, will be donated to Housing Works.
See you guys there!
