from Movie Nite ACT VII

We are both superheroes. We have costumes & names & a team of other superheroes but we’re the superheroes whose powers don’t work right. I can disappear whenever I want & you can shoot fireballs but I can’t control where I reappear & sometimes your fireballs come out dust bunnies. The bad guys are after us & I disappear & reappear on the ledge of a twenty-second story window & you have to use your dust bunnies to make a cushion to catch me. Every time you shoot a fireball the whole pile of dust bunnies goes up in flame & you have to start over & I think it seems possible we’ll get the timing right as I pinwheel my arms & begin to fall.
