Prompt #3

This Friday there will be 113 days left until 2012. You guessed it; we’re getting our resolutions started early here at NANO Fiction.

PROMPT:

Write a micro essay, flash fiction piece, or prose poem about a New Year’s Resolution. Be specific! If the New Year’s Resolution is get yourself (or your character) into the Guinness World Records, tell us what event you (or they) are attempting. If the resolution is more along the lines of quitting smoking, give us details as to what brand of cigarettes you (or your character) are quitting, why you (or they) love them so darn much, and what habits might replace them. Think about it this way: if your 2012 New Year’s Resolution is to get more writing done, you’re already on your way!
